I’m 45 years old, married to Rose, and have a step-son named Larry. He also has three cats: Lily, Lois and Lucy. In 1995, I started working at the Park Forest Public Library while I was going to Governor’s State University earning my Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Management Information Systems. While I thought I’d be in a corporate setting; life had other plans and found my true calling to work in libraries. I left the Park Forest Public Library in 2011 and moved on to the Richton Park Public Library. In 2014, I earned my second Master’s degree in Library & Information Services. In 2018, the Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library District was seeking a new library director, applied and was granted the opportunity to serve the residents & lead a great team into the future as the library continues to evolve with the times. I’m extremely happy and have found my place in the world
